Low Key In My High Keys …..Frayed Jeans & Tee

Low Key In My High Keys …..Frayed Jeans & Tee

These jeans were love at first site. I thought they were so cool with the frayed edges. The fit is also amazing. Topshop jeans just really fit the body well. I also love how they size for all body types. I wanted to do the whole jeans and tee look so I paired it with this cute shirt. It says Sun Kissed and the year ’86. I wasn’t born that year though ehhhmmmm ’84 lol.  It has a looser fit with a lower arm hole, but I tied it up in the back.

My silver High Keys from the Quay X Desi line really made the look summery and fun. I also whipped out my red Prada sandals from a few years ago. Lets face it these will never get old.

Say YES To GUESS

Say YES To GUESS

With the 90’s Vibes in full swing logo gear of the past is showing up everywhere. I was shopping in the mall, and decided to stop by GUESS to see the Classic Guess Collection. I found this amazing patchwork denim vest. It has that old High School Letter jacket feel. It can be styled so many ways; so this won’t be the last time I’m wearing it.

I wore it has a dress, and synched the waist with a red leather belt. I also wore these amazing red boots. Which have  been currently glued to my feet. My favorite shoes right now for sure. They are from Ego Official in case you were wondering. You can get 15% off their site with my discount code LANA15.

I wanted to make this whole photo shoot super old school GUESS ad. Paul Marciano was always known for having sexy curvy models with big hair, perfect makeup and hoop earrings.

My Favorite Face Creams by LANA ALICIA

My Favorite Face Creams by LANA ALICIA

The 2 questions I get asked most. Can I have your closet? What is the secret to your glowing skin? So I do my best to try to help you with both lol. I will be doing a YouTube video of my whole skincare routine so you get get all the details , and watch a demo. Today I will be telling you my favorite face creams. No matter your skin type; it’s always important to keep your skin moisturized. To start off; I should say that I have Normal to Dry Skin. I currently live in Las Vegas which makes my skin even more dry.

I own several face creams, and they are my ride or dies. I often like to layer creams, but that is a personal preference. I do think it is important to own at least 2. Your skin changes depending on the season, climate, hormones and environmental aggressors. So one lotion may not work for you all year; or you may like to use a different face cream day and night.

I linked all my favorites below. Some are very expensive other’s more affordable, but I love them all. Welcome to my RIDE OR DIES.

Red Leather Jacket & Distressed Jeans

Red Leather Jacket & Distressed Jeans

A good red leather jacket & jeans are staple pieces for me. Staple pieces are items that can be worn multiple times, and can be incorporated into your wardrobe in different ways. They are items that you can spend more money on. I suggest that your staple items be good quality because think of them as forever pieces. ( I will do a separate updated post of staple pieces every women should own.)

I love this look I wore the other day. I love the color red. It’s just as neutral as black and tan. It matches; or accents so many colors. I wore the jacket closed to really show off how cute the style was. It is not your typical moto leather jacket. It has a very high fashion appeal with its wide sleeves and cinched waist. It’s a modern spin on a 80’s style jacket. I also love the cropped fit. I normally wear size 0-2 in Top Shop, but got this in a Size 4 and I love the fit.

These Zara jeans have quickly became a favorite pair of mine. They are going to be my go to for a long time. The heals I wore were also a staple piece. They look hand painted with red roses, green leaves, and a black background. I bought them a few years ago and still love them today as much as I did the day I bought them.

Retro Chic

Retro Chic

I pulled out the red vinyl skirt again today, but this time wore it edgier. I would like to say it was retro chic. I tucked in a Blondie distressed graphic tee, and accessioned with gold and silver. I wanted to add more red to the look so I wore the sunnies and the bag.
